Downtown Albany Food Fight – Pickle(d) Edition
It’s Kind of a Big Dill.
Calling all food fans, pickle fans and makers of pickles. On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the Downtown Albany BID will host Food Fight | Pickle(d) Edition. Building on the success of the 2014 Meatball Edition, this year’s Food Fight welcomes Capital Region businesses.
Keep Calm and Pickle On.
The public is invited to come and walk the historic streets of Downtown, sampling pickle(d) delights and assist in the voting of the People’s Choice Award.
Participating businesses will offer one or two prepared entries to be tasted and judged. While there is no general admission to the event, tasting samples will be available for $1.00 each. The public should plan on bringing cash to event, particularly one dollar bills.

“Your Downtown Dill is a Thrill Award” (Best Use of a Pickled Ingredient) | $250

Parking in the Downtown Albany BID footprint
- Street parking is FREE in Downtown all day on Saturday. FREE parking is also available at the Riverfront Parking Garage all day on Saturday.
