Over the past 8 years, Troy’s Uncle Sam Jam has become a showcase for local musicians, featuring some of the top talent that the Capital District has to offer, along with a classic car show each year. The 2013 edition will feature some of the best retro-rock groups in the Northeast, including The El Dorado’s (12 pm), The Greyhounds (2:00 pm), The Tichy Boys (4:00 pm) as well as a the Blux House Rocketers at 6:00 pm. The event features a classic car show, presented by the South Troy Timing Association (sttany@aol.com). The Uncle Sam Jam is sponsored by the City of Troy, along with media sponsores WVCR 88.3 FM The Saint and the Troy Record.
